Air France has taken note of the government's announcements concerning the implementation of the Health Pass on intra-France flights as from 9 August 2021

  • What is a Health Pass?

The Health Pass consists of presenting in paper or digital format

- A negative Covid-19 test result taken less than 48 hours before departure
- A certificate of complete vaccination
- The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigenic test attesting to the recovery of Covid-19, at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old

  • Who is concerned?

All domestic flights in France are concerned by this obligation to present a Health Pass. 

Not concerned:
Minors, whether accompanied or not, are exempt from presenting this Health Pass until 30 September inclusive.
For travel between mainland France and Corsica: the measures in place continue to apply. More information in Corsican prefecture website
- For travel between Corsica and mainland France
: the health pass is not required at this stage. More information in TravelDoc website
- For travel to and from the DOM and intra-DOM: 
other existing measures apply.

We recommend you print and complete all needed certificates/statements before going to the airport.

Hand baggage

Only one item of hand luggage of the permitted size may be taken on board; small personal items (e.g. women's handbags, backpacks, computer cases) must be placed under the seat. It is forbidden to put any clothing (such as jackets, shirts, etc.) in the overhead lockers, which must be stowed in your hand baggage before boarding.


Before going to the airport, we advise you to check the latest provisions on regional/government websites and for those travelling abroad.

For entry into Italy, in case of stay in or transit through List C countries within the previous 14 days, you are required to fill in an online Passenger Locator Form (dPLF).
