Who has never dreamed of being an angel, stretching out vast wings, and flying away? How do you imagine an angel? Jorge Marin is a Mexican sculptor who has given each of his bronze sculptures a pair of wings for a decade now. Often masked, the faces hidden, his sculptures are captured in equilibrium, as if on a thread…
In this exhibition, the wings, shorn from the bodies, have landed in a garden on their own. Visitors can act as if they carry them, they can film them, or they can take a picture standing as if the wings are on their own backs—a performance of its own, this new experience lets humans become angels and a dream become reality.
