Malmaison Glasgow, where you can sleep in a converted church

Sleeping in an Orthodox church, that's a bit out of the ordinary. The Malmaison Glasgow has met the challenge and brought this building up to date.

In the centre of the city, Malmaison Glasgow is an unusual place to spend the night, offering 72 rooms in a Greek Orthodox church that dates back to the 1830s. You may actually feel like in heaven! Some rooms are on the small size as they are using the existing spaces of the church, but you have several options and they all are decorated with eclectic taste. In a very contemporary style, they are dressed in grey and taupe hues contrasting with bright coloured cushions and sheets, paired with modern art on the walls.
The hotel houses a restaurant and a bar, both called “Chez Mal”. You can eat at this brasserie for creative and surprising cuisine, and end the night at the bar section for a glass of wine or a cocktail with your beloved.
