Opened in September 2018 and advertising “Modern American cuisine”, this trendy restaurant on the riverfront is part of the Design District.

By all accounts, this is the place to be. From the Trinity River warehouses to the Design District buildings, Foxyco's floor-to-ceiling picture windows offer a breathtaking view of Downtown Dallas. Along the walls painted in Jackson Pollock style, the 1950s furniture flanked by designer lighting fixtures are in keeping with the style. However, don't be surprised to find the grill right in front of the open kitchen. Jon Stevens, the owner, has made wood-fired grilling his signature. His mantra: “smoked and salted”! Alongside his wife, he has chosen to revolutionise traditional Texan cuisine by adding a more sophisticated touch. Foxy's “co” refers to the other part of the menu, with unexpected dishes: a wide choice of appetizers (grilled artichokes or Wagyu meatballs) will give you time to choose the main course. Indulge in lamb chops served with smashed garlic and mint potatoes, or balsamic vinegar beef Bolognese with ricotta gnocchi. You won't be disappointed.
