Baromètre Marrakech, revisited gastronomy in a speakeasy atmosphere

At Baromètre, you come for a drink and stay for dinner. A unique experience amid the “Red City”.

This new address has fast become one of the major spots of the Gueliz neighbourhood, in the heart of the Medina. You will not find any signage, just a capital B visible from the street. It thus signals the first Moroccan bar devoted to mixology, the art of making cocktails.
The intimate decoration and industrial touches are enhanced by the use of various glass jars and weird mixtures (homemade macerations, mixes of herbs…) exposed here and there. They blend perfectly with an iron counter and lighting fixtures worthy of a modern art museum. Such is the universe of this trendy bar that also hides a gastronomical restaurant. For a second space allows patrons to delve in a Mediterranean-influenced menu that changes with every season. Roasted John Dory fish with olives, served with verbena rice, or savoury tomato-basil macaroons are some of the gems you should expect.
In this high temple of the night – where it is recommended to drink in moderation – the promise of an ambiance like no other, as well as incredible recipes, stimulate customers to come back as quickly as possible.
