For some time now, Tel Aviv's gastronomic scene has veered vegan… and Bana is on the forefront of the movement. The restaurant reminds us of 1980s California, with a pared-down design, white tones and pastel pinks. It presents a menu that sheds a light on fruits and vegetables, as Bana's goal is to focus on plants' essential flavours. Fully vegan, the menu changes with the seasons. You may be a fervent vegan or simply curious to try something new, but the zucchini quiche with cashew nuts and cherry tomatoes will make everyone see eye to eye. Same goes for sweet potatoes, stuffed with black lentils and a pistachio pesto, or the mushroom butternut with nut cream and topped with grilled hazelnuts. A simple yet original manner of finding what food really tastes like!
